Seed funding for mobility planning and infrastructure in the South Baltic region

We (lead partner), together with partners in Viimsi (Estonia) and Klaipeda (Lithuania), have got seed funding from the Swedish Institute for a 1-year  project “Seeds for sustainable mobility planning and infrastructure” (SESUMOPLIN) that will start in September 2021. In this small project, we aim to conduct a pilot study analyzing, assessing, and comparing the relevant experiences of the partners in the field of mobility planning and infrastructure; identifying major bottlenecks and based on that, prepare an application to be applied for additional funding from external sources, such as INTERREG, Horizon or Digital Europe Programme to overcome them. As a result, we have conducted the study and applied for additional financing to overcome the identified problems. The application for additional financing will include a wider range of partners from BSR countries and across Europe, depending on the funding possibility.

Contact the project leader Sven Borén for further questions.
