Professor Hans-Jürgen Zepernick has been invited to Europe’s first 6GSymposium to speak on mobile immersive media and novel digital value platforms in a session exploring the move “From network ownership centricity to service-oriented networks”. The 6GSymposium is organised in collaboration with 6GFLAGSHIP, 6GIC, and InterDigital bringing together experts from organisations around the world to explore what it means for the telecoms value chain to shift towards new business models where the network is a flexible platform for enterprises’ service creation and management. The 6GSymposium will involve figures from across different industries, the public sector and academia to explore: (1) The longer-term evolution of communications and digitalisation beyond 5G; (2) The business, social and government context new technology will arise in; and (3) How to get there from today.
