VIATECH SYNERGY AT IEEE VR WORKSHOPS

Due to COVID-19 concerns, this year’s edition of the IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (IEEE VR) has been moved to on online event (see http://ieeevr.org/2020/). This activity is also part of IEEE VR’s long term goal to increase both sustainability and accessibility.

ViaTecH Synergy will participate in two IEEE VR Workshops on March 22, presenting the following papers:

  • Majed Elwardy, Yan Hu, Hans-Jürgen Zepernick, Thi My Chinh Chu, and Valeria Sundstedt, “Evaluation of Simulator Sickness for 360 Videos on an HMD Subject to Participants’ Experience with Virtual Reality,” IEEE VR Workshop on Immersive Sickness Prevention.
  • Yan Hu, Majed Elwardy, and Hans-Jürgen Zepernick, “On the Effect of Standing and Seated Viewing of 360 Videos on Subjective Quality Assessment,” IEEE VR Workshop on Seated VR.
