TECHNOLOGY DAY FOR GIRLS AT BTH
On Wednesday 23 November, BTH organized a technology day for girls. During the day, around 50 girls in year 9 from various schools in Karlskrona got an insight into what it is like to work in the field of technology. HINTS researchers Veronica Sundstedt and Valeria Garro had a workshop with the girls on the topic of 3D scanning and augmented reality (AR).

THE SWEDISH COUNCIL OF GAME RESEARCHERS
HINTS researcher, Veronica Sundstedt (Associate Professor), is a council member of the newly established Swedish Council of Game Researchers. For more information on the council’s goals or to become a member, please see the following the SSFR-Statement. Today, the council was also mentioned in the news.
HINTS RESEARCHER ON BTH BEST PRACTICE DAY 2022
On October 19, 18 teachers in 17 different sessions at BTH will share their knowledge and experiences regarding teaching. The topics for the day range from “Teacher of the Year” to “autocorrection and lifelong learning”. HINTS researcher, Associate Professor Veronica Sundstedt, will talk about “Experiences of Research-Oriented Activities in Game Technology Education Programmes”. The talk will end with some updates on the developments of a new infrastructure laboratory at BTH, which could benefit education, research, and collaboration with society in the future.
