HiPEAC Info 62 magazine has published an article about Florian Westphal.

There is a three-minute article in HIPEAC info 62,  about Florian Westphal’s thesis, page 43.  In this article and in the thesis, Florian tells us about new ways to make machine learning more efficient.

Florian’s approach is challenging. It requires high-level mechanisms to transfer knowledge from the user to the learner with few interactions and fast processing of the provided feedback to allow iterative improvements.
